I pull up on the beach and see my good friend Tom. "Yes! Tom's here!" The sun is out and there's a MASSIVE 3 wave glassy set rolling in. I'm freakin' out and yelling to Tom "HOLY CRAP! LOOK AT THAT SET!!" I have NEVER pulled up and seen waves like this. Then Tom says: "Hey where are your boards?"
sonofabitch..... I forgot boards.....
All of a sudden I'm standing in shin deep water that is rapidly rising. "hmmm, that last set really brought a lot of water with it." about that time I notice my doors are open and the truck is filling with water. "FUUUUUUUUUUUG!" I run to the drivers side but it's too late, the ocean is receding and my truck is going with it! Treading water I watch the cab disappear.

I wake up in a cold sweat.

I gotta get to the coast......

I have never had a dream where I actually got to ride a wave. I'm paddling out and look down and I'm on a 2x4! Crap like that. Has anyone actually ridden a wave in their dream?

Actually Bob, I have had one or two weird ones where I do get to surf but usually not till mid season when I'm getting waves and not so stressed about getting a few days in and getting the season going. Never been on a 2x4 though
