SALTWATERDREAMS SALE!

It is time to get rid of some merchandise sitting on the shelf that I do not have time to take pictures of to sell online. I will be listing several items to make room for the new inventory.

Here is how it will work:

I will post the items here with a general description and starting price. Simply hit reply on the thread with the price you are willing to pay. Whomever is highest bidder on the end date shoot me an email to ' ethanakins@hotmail.com ' with a link to the post so I can view the item/price along with your full mailing address to calculate shipping and I'll reply with a page to make payment.

So your cost is bid price + cost of shipping. It's a great way to pick up some cool stuff for super cheap!

That's cool E!!!!!

A few things I've been considering buying but I'm not sure if you have or not:

1. Tailpads that Geo didn't already scoop up.
2. Travel bag
3. Wall racks
4. Free trip to Indo
5. A dream session at Mugu this summer

1208, what's up man? Surfing hit an all-time high for me in January of this year. 6 weeks of empty perfection glass with no wind all day long. head high to Double overhead for weeks and weeks with no one out.

Since then, I tweaked my back skiing and I was laid up for a while. Got back in the saddle surfing but I focused a lot on skiing since we were getting some sick snow this year. I ended up tweaking my knee skiing trying to avoid some guy as I came out of a pow stash, laid up for a few weeks. Then re-injured it while playing softball, guess I didn't really rehab or strengthen it so that was expected.

Just got back into the water on Tuesday morning and it was head high, semi-soft wind swell and glassy. Caught a few fun ones but I didn't push it too hard. I have to avoid injuring it again.

I bought a pass to Mammoth for next season and it's valid as of May 1 this year and they announced they're open until July 4th this year. I should be heading up to Mammoth this weekend for some skiing and fishing but I can't risk it. Bummed about that.

Overall, since January I've scored some of the best surf and best snow I've ever had. Just a few injuries that have slowed me down a little but a great year regardless.

How about you? Any waveage?

LOL, holy crap! well very sorry to hear about the tweakages but the rest of it sounds pretty off the charts! Seems like you've just gone from one set of amazing conditions to the next from liquid to frozen water! Most excellent! And getting the pass is key! That makes ya get out there regardless and you end up scoring more for sure, not to mention the more time on the hill, the better your skills get.

I've just got one day in so far but it was a good one! We've had weeks go by with nothing over knee to thigh high out there so when the forecasts started lighting up with 6' at 10 seconds and offshores, I started getting pretty excited. At first I couldn't find any takers and was just gonna go alone but in the end, 4 of us came together from all over the east and as it turned out, where we were, we ended up being about the only ones in the water. At the end of the day we saw two others about a half mile away but that was it. It felt like surfing 10 plus years ago only now I'm able to actually stand up on the board. At the end of the day, for the third session, I rode a new board that I ordered last year and picked up at the end of the season - a 6-8 squash tail modeled after a 6'-8" round pin that John Ashton built for me about 3 or 4 years ago. The tide had filled in pretty good and things were pretty mushy but I was gonna ride it regardless even if I just caught one or two waves. As it turned out, the board kicked ass! and I got good rides on everything I paddled for! Each wave could have easily ended my day on a high note! I ended up staying out by myself for about an hour capping about five and a half hours for the day. Really recharged my batteries (and as usual left me wanting more)! Keeping a weather eye on the horizon and inshape for the next pulse.

Get yourself healthy. Keep chargin

EDIT:
Oh, and if ya think of it, send us some of that head-high glass
adios amigo
