Yup WAZ only in Jersey, must pay. Now it used to be my surfing beach had no badge checker stationed there so everyone and their mother would come surf there cause it was free. Now they put a stairway in and a badge checker so it might thin down the crowd a bit.
It goes to the towns to pay for much of the summer-related costs that come with the summer crowds. Imagine if Huntington Beach shut down from Labor Day to Memorial Day (no crowds, no lifeguards, no extra police, etc.) and you''ll get an idea of what the Jersey Shore is like. Of course, someof it might just make it''s may into the pockets of greedy bastages, too That said, paying to get on the beach is a stoopid fuggin'' idea. When I was in school in Miami I remember the first time I went to beach it was with this girl from the Gulf Coast...and I said to her..."How much does it cost to get on the beach?" She looked at me like I was crazy...when you are from Jersey it seems very normal to pay for the beach...it is stupid but I don''t mind it...it helps to support those communities and they need it because they make little to no money in the winter.. No need to rip on an inferior team, viola. Not to burst any bubbles, but the Nets were SUPPOSED to be in the finals. Everybody had that figured out in February. But being the best in the East is like being fifth best in the West. The East is a real week conference with no true centers. Nets can''t stop Shaq or Kobe. And it doesn''t look like they can stop Fox either, especially if he lets a little bit of the Jackson Vehu into his game... Tip off in an hour and a half!
